Scott Thompson is the Clean Energy Associate for Wisconsin Environment Research and Policy Center. His priorities for 2012 focus on expanding solar energy in Wisconsin and defending the Clean Air Act from attacks in Congress. Scott received his BS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Economics and Political Science in 2010. As a student, he spent his extracurricular time as a leader with WISPIRG Student Chapter, where he organized students around stopping the construction of a coal fired power plant and lead efforts to register over 12,000 Wisconsin students to vote in the 2008 presidential election.
